Some if those hang-ups are believing somehow words themselves have magic power and just uttering something imbues you with some direct asdociation. Like if I, a Christian, went around saying Happy Saturnalia id get some fairly serious reactions. I can imagine my iwn mother saying “dont say that! Youll invite satan!” Even though it’s just silly pointless words. I expect there are Hindus who think saying the wirds Merry Christmas will immediately poison them with Christianity or make it appear they have been.📷
